Heidi Klum Divorce: Singer Responds To Model's Filing With Papers Of His Own

A Less-Than-Peaceful Split?

Seal has responded to Heidi Klum's divorce documents with some paperwork of his own.

Just days after Klum filed for divorce, Seal filed court papers to obtain joint physical custody of their children, TMZ reported Tuesday. In her original filing, Klum requested primary physical custody of the children, with Seal getting visitation rights.

TMZ also reports that Seal's filing indicates that the pair has "community and quasi-community assets," and makes no mention of a post-nuptial agreement, which was highlighted in Klum's divorce documents.

Both Seal and Klum have requested that the judge deny each other spousal support.

Seal and Klum married in 2005 and have four children together, including the supermodel's daughter from a previous relationship.

The pair issued a joint statement announcing their split in late January: "While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul searching we have decided to separate. We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart. This is an amicable process and protecting the well-being of our children remains our top priority, especially during this time of transition. We thank our family, friends, and fans for their kind words of support. And for our children's sake, we appreciate you respecting our privacy."
