LL Cool J's Wife: Rapper Talks About How He Met Simone I. Smith (VIDEO)

Rapper and "NCIS: Los Angeles" star LL Cool J stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Monday night to talk about how he met his wife, Simone I. Smith, as a teenager, back in 1987.

"I was just 19, something like that," LL Cool J told host Jimmy Kimmel. "It was Easter and I was driving down the block in my mother's car."

The rapper said it all started when he stopped the car to say hello to a friend. "He said, 'Hey, you wanna meet my cousin?"

At first, LL Cool J told his friend that he had somewhere else to go, but seeing Smith for the first time changed his mind. "I looked over and said 'Oh yeah, I'll meet your cousin.'"

LL Cool J and Smith married in 1995, after dating for eight years. The couple have four children together.

Uh...okay.... If you consider getting married when you're 8months pregnant with your 3rd child " the right order," then yes, they did it in the right order.

It's actually quite well; I dated, got married, and THEN had a kid. Thanks for asking. And you know full well it makes a difference.
