The State Ethics Commission has opened a public inquiry into Gov. Nikki Haley's campaign finances, according to a story reported by the Associated Press.

A hearing is set for July 18.

AP reports the complaint accuses Haley of failing to maintain proper records of donors' occupations and didn't disclose the addresses of six contributors.

Patch has contacted Haley's spokesman about the investigation, but has not received comment at this time.
