Paula Patton Gets Gorgeous For Pepsi NEXT And Lands Role With Denzel Washington (PHOTOS)

Actress Paula Patton looked lovely in a red Azzedine Alaia dress yesterday as she started her gig as Pepsi NEXT's newest celebrity spokesperson.

Already a brand ambassador for CoverGirl, Paula's beauty and bubbly personality is perfect for the low-sugar carbonated beverage.

Nicki Minaj and Eva Longoria are also official faces of Pepsi NEXT.

And if that's not exciting enough, the web has been buzzing about "The Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol" star hooking up with Denzel Washington.

But wait! No need for alarm. The two aren't stepping out on their spouses--they are simply starring together in the upcoming movie "2 Guns."

Paula is said to be playing the girlfriend of Denzel's character in the film. Sounds steamy--we can't wait!

It's a bit odd that all three "spokeswomen" are Latino (arn't they?). I do like Pepsi Next; with less sugar, it does not leave that "coating" in your mouth that regular soft drinks do. One thing, though; I was expecting it to be sweetened with sugar (just less of it), but it also contains the distinct flavor of aspartame. Why can't they just make a soda with less sugar, period?

Hello iRock; They do play a significant role. But if one is the power structure and has control of everything, then it comes as no surprise, that beauty is based upon their standards. Unfortunately people of color have been so indoctrinated or brainwashed into believing what the power structure promotes. I know Brothas who do not find Sista Alex attractive. But then the first thing they see is her melanation and they sadly cannot see beyond that. I remember wanting to be white as a child. Sad. Huh? All I know is you had to be that color to be on tv; so I wanted to be that color. But I know better today. I loves being a woman of color. Not to mention I'm so colorful too.
