Rose McGowan and Wynonna Judd sat in on the week's festivities on "RuPaul's Drag Race" (Mon., 10 p.m. ET on Logo). But it was a heartbreaking finale, as arguably the season's most beloved queen was told to sashay away.
First, though, it was another challenge win for Sharon Needles, who impressed McGowan with a pair of fierce furry boots that she admitted to spending five-and-a-half hours creating. They matched the poodle she strutted beside perfectly.
When it came time for the elimination, even RuPaul seemed saddened to be saying goodbye. "I bow to you," she said to Latrice Royale, whose big heart had won over everyone in the competition, and everyone at home.
But it was Royal's farewell speech that had McGowan in tears, emphasizing what she saw as the importance of a show like this. "You have changed my life forever," Royale told Ru. "You have changed the world of drag forever. I love you and respect you so much. And thank you for seeing something in me."
