Sarah Chalke continued her run as Angie, the new woman in Bobby's life, on her old boss' new show. She's fit in very well with the cast of "Cougar Town" (Tue., 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC) helped no doubt by the familiar presence of both Bill Lawrence off-screen and Christa Miller on-screen -- Chalke and Miller were both on Lawrence's prior series "Scrubs."
But as good as her chemistry was with the cast, things weren't quite so rosy between Angie and Bobby. First, he was stunned to see her kissing another man. She explained it away by saying that they'd never agreed to being exclusive, but Bobby had kind of assumed they were.
What helped him get over his sense of betrayal was Angie nude in his bed. It's hard to throw a woman out when she's not wearing anything, so he did something else instead. But finally, he had to be honest about where he was in his life. Despite the fun they were having, he told her he was looking for something more. She wasn't. And so they agreed to simply remember the good times.
While all this was going on, Jules was coming to terms with Travis' passion for photography, finally realizing that he does have a gift and ultimately agreeing to let him photograph her wedding. If ABC actually keeps the show on the schedule, that wedding is expected to happen by season's end.
