Kate Middleton's Issa Engagement Dress Gets A Sexy Makeover (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: How To Make Kate Middleton Sexier

Can you picture the Duchess of Cambridge strutting around in a plunging tangerine kimono?

Issa, the makers of that ubiquitous royal blue (heh) kimono dress that Catherine wore when she and William formally announced their engagement (and that her first-ever wax figure also dons), has given the frock a sexy makeover, perhaps in honor of the royal wedding anniversary. (Just kidding. Although that'd be hilarious.)

SheFinds noted that the London-based fashion house launched a new range of the frock for spring/summer 2012, chopping hemlines and sending the neckline plunging way further south than Kate dared to wear at Clarence House.

They've also expanded on that more autumnal royal blue; you can now get the dress in hues like light pink and aqua, as well as a number of trendy prints. What's next? A strapless, mini-skirted version of the royal wedding dress? Coral Daisy Dukes? We kind of can't wait.

You can score Kate's made-over dress for around $600 at retailers like Shopbop. But if you're a traditionalist, the original is still available for $525 here.

So, will any royals be brave enough to try out the sexed-up kimono dress? Pippa, we're looking at you...
