'LOL' Trailer: Miley Cyrus Breaks Up And Makes Up In New Trailer (VIDEO)

Miley Cyrus Acts Out In New 'LOL' Trailer

In "LOL," Miley Cyrus plays a hard-partying, rebellious teen who just can't be tamed.

Judging by the trailer, this movie will practically scream, "I'm not Hannah Montana anymore."

The film, also starring Demi Moore as Cyrus' high-strung mother, is a remake of the 2008 French comedy of the same name. In the mother-daughter dramedy, party girl Lola (Cyrus) discovers her boyfriend cheated on her and decides to get revenge by dating one of her close friends (Brit Douglas Booth). Of course, things start to go ary when Lola actually starts to fall for her super good-looking BFF.

"LOL" also marks the 19-year-old's first on-screen sex scene as Lola loses her virginity on an impromptu trip to Paris.

The former Disney star seems eager to let people know she's an adult, even if she's still playing a teenager. "It's pretty gnarly," Cyrus told Reuters. "It is about a daughter who is involved with all the wrong kids, doing drugs, failing school, but the mother has her on this perfect pedestal. I just fell in love with the story."

There's no doubt that Cyrus can relate to her character and understands the pressure to live up to other people's expectations. Cyrus has recently come under fire for her thin frame, causing the young starlet to take to Twitter to set the rumors straight. "For everyone calling me anorexic I have a gluten and lactose allergy," she wrote. "It's not about weight it's about health. Gluten is crapppp anyway!"

"I had been wanting to get out of what people think as the obvious choice for me to do next," Cyrus said of the role. "It was so freeing to not be, like 'Alright, I'm happy!" and getting to be real and working with life's real emotions. People are so used to me playing the happy girl."
