Robyn Harr Bit Teen Daughter For Removing Rihanna CD, Police Say

Cops: Mom Bit Daughter Over Rihanna CD

A 38-year-old mother in Vero Beach sunk her teeth into her 17-year-old daughter's leg for taking a Rihanna album out of the CD player, according to Indian River Police.

Although the incident occurred on April 1, the mother's arrest for misdemeanor battery domestic battery violence is no April Fools joke.

According to the arrest affidavit, police visited Robyn Harr's residence multiple times that Sunday after reports that she was intoxicated. Her daughter told police that she had been "nasty all day."

Harr told police that her teen had been playing loud music in the house all day and refused to turn down the volume.

The daughter said that when she went to remove a Rihanna CD from the stereo, Harr bit her in the leg. Police noted that the wound looked to be "very fresh."

Police say Harr spontaneous admitted to the battery, stating "I bit her," but maintained that it was just self-defense after her daughter attacked her.

Police noted on the report that there was no sign of a struggle within Harr's living room and that the teeth mark on the daughter "did not appear to be consistent" with such an attack.

Harr, who police says smelled strongly of alcohol and was slurring her words, was arrested for battery domestic violence. She posted her $500 bail later that day.
