Sherri Shepherd Addresses Emotional 'Dancing With The Stars' Elimination On 'The View' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Sherri Shepherd Addresses Emotional 'DWTS' Elimination

"View" co-host Sherri Shepherd addressed her Tuesday night elimination from ABC's "Dancing With The Stars." Shepherd's dance partner Val Chmerkovskiy sat by her side as the "View" co-hosts asked about her emotional goodbye.

Co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck said that "everyone was really shocked" to learn that Shepherd, who was considered a fan-favorite, was not only eliminated but also in the bottom of the pack. "What was it that landed you in the spot to be eliminated?" Hasselbeck asked.

While Shepherd remained very thankful and gracious for the time she spent on the show, Chmerkovskiy provided some more candid responses. "I think she was very intimidating on the show, very beautiful...and too sexy for 'DWTS'," he said. When asked to describe his favorite moments with Shepherd, Chmerkovskiy said, "Every moment was the best moment."

"Are you two married?" co-host Whoopi Goldberg quipped. Chmerkovskiy continued and said that he really appreciated Shepherd's kindness. "She's a huge star and I'm just a dancer," he said. He also said that he felt "responsible" in some ways for their elimination. "She's a visitor in my world," he said.

Shepherd thanked her partner for his patience. "He would kiss my weave and say let it go and have fun," she said. "Not let the weave go!"

Goldberg said that she did not watch a lot of TV, but heard that that while Shepherd was on "DWTS," the camera would pan to "some random black person" in the audience. "Did you know any of those people they showed?" Goldberg asked. "I didn't know any of those black people," Shepherd laughed.
