Abigail Breslin's Style Evolution: From American Girl to Bohemian Teen (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Abigail Breslin Goes From American Girl to Bohemian Teen

Abigail Breslin seems surprisingly down-to-earth for a young girl who's grown up in Hollywood. The 16-year-old is close with her family, selects age-appropriate roles and remains relatively under the gossip radar (in the world of teen stars, sometimes no news is good news). It's no wonder she was chosen to play one of the iconic American Girl dolls, Kitt Kittredge. The Academy Award-nominated actress got her start in a Toys R Us commercial at the age of 3, but she became a household name after her role as a naive beauty pageant hopeful in the black comedy Little Miss Sunshine.

Breslin has been equally as endearing style-wise, showing an affinity for bohemian yet conservative looks. The fresh-faced beauty has recently been showing glimpses of adulthood though, debuting blonde locks last year and sitting front and center during the last New York Fashion Week. The New Year's Eve star has just signed on to another more mature film, The Hive, alongside Halle Berry, so we have a feeling that there are more Academy Award nominations in her future.

In celebration of Ms. Breslin's 16th birthday on April 14th, we're taking a look back at the teen's style. Vote on all of her looks in the slideshow and tell us where you'd like to see her style go next.
