Bo Obama Gets His Own Campaign Ad In Anticipation Of Third Anniversary At White House

Bo Gets Special Treatment Ahead Of His Big Day

The furriest member of the First Family is getting front-and-center placement in a new ad for the Obama reelection campaign.

Bo Obama, the Portuguese Water Dog who currently resides at the White House, will celebrate his third anniversary as a member of the Obama family on Saturday. To mark the date, the Obama campaign has rolled out an ad encouraging people to "throw a bone to Bo."

The ad links to a sign-up page, which inevitably leads to an opportunity to donate to the campaign.

It's just the latest example of synergy between the Obamas and their pup -- not that he has much of a choice. Last week, First Lady Michelle Obama brought Bo along to visit wounded veterans at the Fisher House on Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, Md., and on Easter, the president tweeted out this adorable picture of the dog channeling the Easter Bunny.

Bo isn't the only dog that the Obama campaign is using to fundraise. Supporters can also buy their pooch campaign-branded apparel. Seriously.
