The City of Detroit has withdrawn for now its petition to erect large electronic signs at the entrance to Belle Isle.
Daryl Lundy, director of the City of Detroit's office of Homeland Security & Emergency Management, released a statement late Thursday saying city officials were "having further discussion about the possibility of signage at Belle Isle."
