Courtney Love Apologizes To Frances Bean Cobain

There is something incredibly satisfying about having a parent admit they're wrong, but we're guessing this is one apology that is falling on deaf ears.

Hole singer Courtney Love apologized to her 19-year-old daughter, Frances Bean Cobain, on Twitter, writing:

Love's apology comes after she ranted on her private Twitter account, telling her followers that she'd heard from her daughter's roommate and from a driver that former Nirvana drummer and current Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl had hit on and possibly slept with Frances.

On Thursday, Cobain responded to the drama her mother caused by releasing a statement to the media. "While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy," she said, adding "Twitter should ban my mother."

Love may have tried to make things right with her estranged daughter, but has yet to apologize to Grohl, who responded to the allegations via his publicist and denied Courtney's claims, calling them "upsetting, offensive and absolutely untrue."
