Lane Pryce has been struggling to find where he belongs in the new firm for quite some time, and he decided he was going to assert himself on "Mad Men" (Sun., 10 p.m. ET on AMC). He did so by landing a potential deal with a new client, Jaguar.
But Lane flubbed his first attempt to find common ground with the client, and then things went completely off the rails when Pete, Roger and Don took him to a brothel. Everyone seemed to have a good time -- excluding Don, who was the only one present who didn't cheat on his wife -- but after the Jaguar rep's wife found out about the evening, it all blew up in their faces.
After hearing the news, Pryce stormed into the conference room, and after Pete made a few snide remarks about his inability to close, Lane challenged him to a fight. As Don and Roger watched, they engaged in a bout of fisticuffs, each landing a few good shots until Lane ultimately prevailed, knocking Pete to the ground. Pete's gigantic ego was bruised nearly as much as his face.
"Mad Men" continues Sundays at 10 p.m. ET on AMC.
