Like Susan Boyle before him, 17-year-old Britain's Got Talent contestant Jonathan Antoine may not have looked the part of the next big pop star. But when he opened his mouth and started to sing, everyone was shocked -- including hard-to-impress judge Simon Cowell.
The shy boy was the victim of bullying because of his weight, but his friend Charlotte stayed by his side through it all. With her, he performed an epic duet of "The Prayer," which had the crowd roaring within 30 seconds. Simon Cowell gushed, "Jonathan, you are unbelievable... You are a future star." But for the most tear-jerking moment, skip to 4:40 in the video below -- we challenge you not to get at least a little emotional!
Although the performance took place last month, the inspiring video is making the rounds again on Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook. In honor of of Jonathan's second (and third) watch-worthy performance, we've put together videos of a few other young contestants on talent shows who completely blew us away. And as we all know, everyone's favorite boy band, One Direction, also got their start on a British talent show, with incredible performances that caused the judges to label the five boys "the next big thing."
