Katy Perry hit up the Coachella music festival this past weekend, debuting her new dark purple hair and wearing a gauzy, see-through dress, which she described as "sponsored by courtney love, virgin suicides & fern gully" on Twitter.
When she wasn't crying over the Tupac hologram that amazed audiences, she was having a blast with some pals, lip-synching along to Carly Rae Jepsen's smash hit "Call Me Maybe."
The 27-year-old singer was partying poolside with her friends as they videotaped themselves goofing around to the ultra-catchy tune and uploaded it to YouTube. The video isn't quite as well-produced as the version Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez, Ashley Tisdale and pals made back in February, but Jepsen was thrilled to see that Perry is digging her song. "Well... @KatyPerry I have to say that you made my night!" she tweeted on Tuesday.
Jepsen's song is currently sitting at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, just below Katy Perry's "Part Of Me."
