Keith Olbermann On 'This Week': Former Current TV Host To Sit On Roundtable

Keith Olbermann Back On TV

Keith Olbermann will sit in on the political roundtable on ABC News' "This Week With George Stephanopoulos" on Sunday.

The program announced the news via Twitter on Thursday.

It will be Olbermann's first television appearance to talk politics since his explosive departure from Current TV in March. He will be joined by George Will, Donna Brazile, Matt Dowd and Peggy Noonan on Sunday.

The former Current TV host took to Twitter on Thursday night to respond to some of the jokes about his upcoming appearance.

One person wrote, "Helpful hint to @ThisWeekABC: make sure to send a proper limo service to pick up @KeithOlbermann. Smelly drivers need not apply." Olbermann shot back, "I presume you know there were never limos, and the 'smelly' incident was fabricated."

He is currently embroiled in a nasty war with his former network, having sued Current TV for breach of contract. The network retaliated with its own countersuit. Olbermann appeared on television for the first time since getting fired in April, telling David Letterman that he was like a "$10 million chandelier" without a proper home.
