What are you doing for Earth Day this year? On Sunday April 22, the world will celebrate the 42nd annual Earth Day, a global event meant to celebrate the Earth and raise awareness for environmental causes.
No matter where you live, there are plenty of things to do on Earth Day. The EPA has a guide here to help you find activities for Earth Day. The EPA also encourages Americans to "own" the environment and "commit to environmental protection as one of your top priorities." If you're not heading outdoors for Earth Day, check out this list of movies to watch with children on Earth Day.
