Jennifer Hudson is used to being in the spotlight, but the singer broke down when all eyes were on her today.

Hudson took the stand to testify against William Balfour, the man charged with killing the pop star's mother, sister and 7-year-old nephew. When asked about the last time she saw her family, Hudson cried as she recalled their last visit in Chicago days before the triple murder.

She never wanted her sister to date Balfour, she said, and never liked him, "not even in grammar school."
