'Nurse Jackie': Jackie Checks Out Of Rehab; Immediately Suffers Temptation To Relapse (VIDEO)

'Nurse Jackie' Checks Herself Out Of Rehab

Apparently, three episodes in rehab is about all Jackie can stand. In this week's "Nurse Jackie" (Sun., 9 p.m. ET on Showtime), she was just shy of halfway through her treatment and she voluntarily checked herself out. All this over seeing her rebellious daughter wearing eyeliner.

But that didn't mean it was smooth sailing. Her counselor in rehab told her it was going to be difficult, and she was right. Jackie had an emotional breakdown in the hallway and ran off with no idea what was happening to her or why. To make matters worse, one of the nurses hooked her up with some fentanyl patches -- which had given her quite the high in the past.

After finding out Eddie had spilled the beans to her husband about their affair, Jackie had a moment of weakness and nearly succumbed to the temptation. Instead, she anonymously turned the nurse in, and then tipped him off that the cops were coming. It was an extreme measure, but perhaps what Jackie needed to affirm to herself that she was really going to move past her addiction this time.

Catch new episodes of "Nurse Jackie" every Sunday at 9 p.m. ET on Showtime.
