Ricky Martin Sells Miami Beach Mansion For $10.6 Million (PHOTOS)

Ricky Martin is living La Vida Broadway these days, so he's saying goodbye to the Miami Beach mansion he's called home since 2005.

MLS records show Martin sold his 9,491-square foot palace Thursday for $10.6 million, just a bit over his purchase price of $10 million 7 years ago.

The 7-bedroom Mediterranean-style home, built in 2004, boasts 105 feet of Biscayne Bay waterfront in Miami Beach's exclusive La Gorce subdivision -- something that came in handy for the former Menudo member, who showed off some stellar stand-up paddleboard skills while giving the Oprah show a tour of his home (view video in slideshow below).

Also handy for the Puerto Rican-born father of twins Matteo and Valentino? 8 full bathrooms with 2 half baths, a pool, a guesthouse, and in-home recording studio.

"I used to entertain a lot," he said while showing off a former bar area-turned-play space to the Oprah audience. "Now we change diapers in this room."

For the near future, Martin will be changing diapers in New York City: he's currently starring in the Broadway production of Evita. No word yet on who purchased the massive pad, but Martin's agent insists there's no love lost for the 305.

“Ricky Martin has such strong ties to Miami that he will always consider it his home alongside Puerto Rico,” spokesman John Reilly told the Miami Herald. “As much as Ricky loves [South Florida] ... Ricky is currently performing eight shows a week at the Marquis Theatre in Times Square, and it would have proved to be a somewhat difficult daily commute.”
