'Veep' Premiere: Women React On Twitter

Women React On Twitter To 'Veep' Premiere

Julia Louis-Dreyfus has officially returned to the small screen ... as the Vice President of the United States. "Veep" premiered on HBO last night and lots of people weighed in on Louis-Dreyfus' swearing, sometimes composed but often bumbling Vice President Selina Meyer.

Entertainment Weekly called her performance "commanding," People said Louis-Dreyfus was "one of TV's greatest," and the New York Daily News praised her "fine comic performance." If you loved Louis-Dreyfus as Elaine on "Seinfeld," it's hard not to cheer for her now. Also, Anna Chlumsky, of "My Girl" fame plays Meyer's chief-of-staff. (Vada Sultenfuss is back!)

On Twitter, women obliged, welcoming both back with congratulations, commentary and a few squeals of appreciation.
