Conan O'Brien Chicago-Bound: Kicks Off Just For Laughs 2012 Comedy Festival

Conan O'Brian Heads To Chicago This Summer

Local factions of Team Coco, rejoice: comedian and late night TV personality Conan O'Brien will bring his talk show to Chicago this summer for a week of tapings.

O'Brien's detour will kick off the 2012 Just For Laughs Chicago Comedy Festival, sponsored by TBS, the network that airs his self-titled late night show. For four nights starting Monday, June 11, O'Brien's show will be taped in front of a live audience at the Chicago Theater, before the comedian launches on a summer-long tour, according to a release.

Just For Laughs Chicago runs June 12-17 this year and features live stand-up comedy and sketch performances, musical comedy acts, a naughty improv puppet show, Mike Birbiglia's off-Broadway hit "My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend," a Q&A with Kevin Smith and "more surprises" to be announced. Headliner Aziz Ansari's shows at the Chicago Theater have already sold out.

To attend a show in person, fans can enter an online lottery to win seats to one of four shows running nightly from Monday to Thursday that week.
