Matthew Owens Of Alabama Allegedly Beaten By Mob In 'Justice For Trayvon' Rage

Matthew Owens was allegedly beaten by a vicious mob, after which someone uttered the words, "Now that's justice for Trayvon."

Alabama police are trying to track down a mob that beat a man into critical condition -- leaving their battered victim with the words, "Now that's justice for Trayvon."

Cops told WKRG that Matthew Owens got in an argument with some kids playing basketball at a court in the city of Mobile on Saturday night. The kids left and a group of some 20 adults arrived at Owens' front doorstep, armed with chairs, brass knuckles, pipes and paint cans.

The group, all African American, allegedly beat him into a bloody pulp before someone uttered the words that connected the crime to the death of Trayvon Martin, the unarmed teen who was shot and killed in Florida by self-appointed neighborhood watch captain George Zimmerman.

"It was the scariest thing I have ever witnessed," Owens' sister, Ashley Parker, told the station. She said the perps utilized "anything they could get their hands on" as weapons.

Cops searched the area, but couldn't find any suspects.

The February death of Martin has received international attention after Zimmerman killed the 17-year-old boy in what he said was self defense. A failure to immediately charge Zimmerman in the case caused public outcry as well as nationwide debates about gun law and race. Earlier this month, he was charged with second-degree murder.

Clarification: We've updated the wording around George Zimmerman's title as neighborhood watch captain. He is a self-appointed neighborhood watch captain.

This is what happens when the Jewish run media incites blacks over the Trayvon Martin killing. The truth is more violent racist attacks are against whites, yet these people who claim to be against racism will always ignore and by doing so justify it. How often do you see gangs of whites beating blacks to death? it happens daily in the US against whites. George Zimmerman was just a stupid fat guy who thought he was trying to protect his community,what happened I don't know but he killed someone and should be in jail for it.

What context? You have hearsay from one witness about a knife being pulled that is NOT CORROBORATED by any other witnesses, and you have totally different hearsay about how he was "spewing hate speech", which again, was not corroborated. Real bang-up detective work there genius. I know your guilty white-liberal self wants so badly to justify this for some warped sense of justice you have over something that happened 50 years ago, but look at the facts please.

Can anything good come out of this Trayvon Martin - George Zimmerman mess?

Hopefully, some of the following may happen:·

The News media, like NBC, will be more careful of publishing only the truth and will not distort and lie about the truth, because they now know they will be caught.·

Parents of perfect 13 year olds will get involved immediately if their child gets expelled from school 3 times.·

Trayvon's parents will put as much time, money, and energy into discovering why Trayvon changed from a perfect 13 year old to a problem child, as they put into getting Zimmerman arrested.·

Americans, of all colors, will remember America elected a black president and they will arrest the race hustlers who try to create race mobs, race riots, and place bounties on people's heads.·

Zimmerman will receive a fair trial, as we hope all Americans will receive fair trials, and not be tried by rageful mobs

Trayvon was "branded" by the photos the PR firm and the news media used to show Trayvon as a sweet 13 year old boy who was an honor student and 100 lbs. lighter than Zimmerman. So of course people can't believe Trayvon did anything wrong.·

Zimmerman was "branded" by the photos used by the PR firm and the news media as a criminal in jail clothing and 100 lbs. heavier than Trayvon. So of course Zimmerman was immediately branded as the villain.·

NBC changed the transcript of Zimmerman's phone call to the police to make him look like a racist. NBC just fired the woman who made the change to the transcript, but most people will never learn that NBC deliberately and falsely smeared Zimmerman as a racist.·

Both Trayvon's parent's PR firm and the news media ignored the 11 years Zimmerman helped his integrated neighborhood of 250 homes protect itself from about 20 robbery cases each year, most committed by young black men.·

Both the PR firm and the news media also ignored that Trayvon had been expelled from school 3 times and had been found with 12 pieces of stolen silver jewelry in his pack.

What should the 15 victims of "Trayvon case rage" do? I believe the current 15 and future victims of "Trayvon case rage" need to get a PR firm to publicize their abuse, otherwise nothing will be done to arrest their abusers and more people will become victims of "Trayvon case rage". As the mob of 20 blacks who almost killed a white man in Mobile, Alabama left, one yelled something about getting "justice" for Trayvon. Instead of calling the attack a racist attack, the mayor called it an assault of the victim by his neighbor with whom he didn't get along. The other 19 people, including the one who yelled that the attack was "justice" for Trayvon, apparently won't be charged with committing a racist crime. Imagine what would have happened if the victim had been black and the mob who attacked him were white!

Unfortunately, the PR (Public Relations) firm that worked with Trayvon's parents appears to have contributed to the current atmosphere of black rage and mob action that has resulted in the severe beating of 15 people (so far). Trayvon's parents used a PR firm to help them get "justice", and now the victims of the "Trayvon case rage" need a PR firm to help them get "justice".

So I'm confused; did they break the door down and go inside and beat him? Was he sitting outside and just waited as a gang of 20 people armed with weapons got close enough to beat him? were the cops called? And the sister who saw everything didn't whip out her cell phone and record the entire thing? Something is not right with this story. the cops found no evidence of the suspects or the weapons. So they brought paint cans, chairs and various other weapons to fight one guy and ran off, without leaving so much as a trace of anything, and with all of these so called weapons. Sounds like a set up or a story to get more sympathy for Mr. Zimmerman.
