Kelly Clarkson Birthday: Singer Turns 30

Happy Birthday, Kelly Clarkson!

It's hard to believe that it was an entire decade ago that Kelly Clarkson shot to fame as the first winner of "American Idol." Now, 10 years later, the spunky Texan who announced at her "AI" audition that she'd be a fashion designer "if this doesn't work out" is a bona fide megastar with a universally beloved arsenal of pop anthems.

Clarkson turns 30 today, and at a "moment like this," we thought we'd look back on the stellar year she's had.

The title track of her fifth studio album, "Stronger," reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. She sang the national anthem at the most-watched Super Bowl ever. She picked up two Academy of Country Music Awards for her collaboration with Jason Aldean. She's returning to the medium that made her famous, as a mentor on ABC's "Duets."

And both the cast of "Glee," singing "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)," and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, oddly covering "Since U Been Gone" as Axl Rose, have recently paid tribute to her catalog.

It sounds as if Kelly has a positive outlook on the milestone, if the following tweet is any indication:

Happy birthday, Kelly!
