Sofia Vergara Denied Nightclub Entry Without ID: REPORT

Sofia Vergara Got Carded, Was Denied Nightclub Entry

Sofia Vergara may have a 19-year-old son and play a step-grandmother on "Modern Family," but apparently the youthful-looking actress gets denied at posh New York City nightclubs.

According to the New York Daily News, Vergara headed out to Ava Lounge to attend a private bash for the Broadway show "Ghost," when she was asked for identification at the door. The actress apparently stepped out without ID, and faced a predicament underage college kids around the country have had to deal with. The establishment has a strict ID policy, meaning no one -- and they mean no one -- can enter without proving they are over 21.

If even Vergara can't persuade a bouncer to let her in, you know things are really serious.

Knowing Vergara and her sense of humor, hopefully she'll just laugh this unfortunate incident off. But we have a feeling she won't be leaving her ID at home anytime soon.
