Kate Middleton Hits Disney's 'African Cats' Premiere With Prince William (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Kate & William Hit The Red Carpet!

Kate Middleton and Prince William tend to be DVD-watching homebodies. But occasionally a film premiere lures the married couple out onto the red carpet, feeding our daily desire for royal photo opps. (They're quite considerate like that.)

Today the film was "African Cats," the latest animal-themed flick from Disney. Kate and William stepped out on a gray London afternoon for the movie's UK premiere, which will benefit British-based conservation charity Tusk Trust.

In what seems to be an unfortunate trend, the rain was coming down on the red carpet (as it did when the royal couple attended the "War Horse" premiere). But Kate stayed pristine under several helpful umbrellas, ensuring she and her lovely dress stayed dry.

And the dress, of course, was flawless: a light gray Matthew Williamson Pre-Fall 2012 frock customized just for Catherine (according to our trusty pals at WhatKateWore, the British designer added the bejeweled detail around the neckline to match the cuffs). It also features that every-trendy peplum, which she wears like a pro.

And lest we forget her better half, how handsome does Prince William look? We're loving the bright tie ... and does something about his hair look different?

Check out the moviegoing couple below. Are you a fan of Catherine's dress?
