Tamera Mowry Pregnant: Actress Expecting First Child

Tamera Mowry Is Pregnant

Former "Sister, Sister" star Tamera Mowry is pregnant!

The 33-year-old actress is expecting her first child with her husband, Fox News correspondent Adam Housley, reports People.

"Adam and I are excited about having a baby and the blessing that he or she will bring to our lives and to our family and friends," the actress, who now goes by Mowry-Hously, told the magazine. "We can't wait to meet this little miracle!"

The couple were married in May 2011 and will welcome the newest addition to their family in November. Though clearly ecstatic about starting a family, Tamera admitted her pregnancy hasn't been that easy.

"The first trimester was a little rough. I was extremely fatigued and had morning sickness -- more like evening sickness," she said. "Luckily, it has subsided in my second trimester. I feel great as of now, more like myself."

News that the actress is expecting is a bit surprising, as she told Us Weekly in October 2011 that she wasn't planning on having kids anytime soon.

That attitude changed after an "amazing" trip to South Africa, which she says changed her perspective on life, and the couple decided they didn't want to wait to start a family.

Her pregnancy comes just 10 months after her twin sister and "The Game" star, Tia, welcomed her first child, a baby boy named Cree Taylor, with husband Cory Hardrict -- and she couldn't be more thrilled for her sister.

"[Tia's] first reactions [when I called her] was, 'I KNEW it!'" the actress, who will star on Fox’s new pilot "Rebounding," told People. "Tia is beyond thrilled. Cree now has a play date in the future!"
