Joan Crawford's Impressive Shoe Closet: A Look Back

"A Look Back" is a daily column that highlights a moment from fashion's fabulous past. Today's pick is of actress Joan Crawford standing in front of her awe-inspiring shoe collection. Her adopted daughter Christina Crawford later wrote a memoir "Mommie Dearest," which inspired a film of the same name and revealed a fraught, to say the least, mother-daughter dynamic. Crawford's alleged controlling, abusive nature that existed beneath her Hollywood persona. Do you think she could give shoe-aholic Imelda Marcos a run for her money?
