Analise J. Garner, Illinois Woman, Allegedly Bit Dog, Attacked Mother During Domestic Incident

Police: Woman Bit Family Dog, Mother During Drunken Argument

A 19-year-old suburban Chicago woman was arrested over the weekend and charged with biting a dog during a domestic incident also involving her mother.

Analise J. Garner, of the 300 block of Village Creek Drive in Lake in the Hills, Ill., was charged with animal cruelty, underage drinking and domestic battery in an incident that took place around 4 a.m. Sunday, the Northwest Herald reports.

According to the Herald, police were alerted by neighbors to screaming and pounding coming from the apartment where Garner lives with her 37-year-old mother.

Police say that Garner attacked her mother, scratching and hitting her in the face and allegedly biting her in the hand, TribLocal reports. Garner also allegedly bit her English bulldog three times, according to police. The dog reportedly retaliated -- biting Garner once in the arm.

Lake in the Hills police sergeant Mark Smith told the Chicago Sun-Times that the fight began when Garner's mother confronted her daughter about coming home so late and being intoxicated.

Garner was released on $3,000 bond Monday and is due in court on May 23.
