Obama 'Forward' Video: Re-Election Campaign Unveils New Slogan

WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama has a new campaign slogan: "Forward."

Obama's re-election team unveiled its new motto in a video released Monday morning. The seven-minute video begins by recalling the grim state of the nation's economy when Obama took office, then ticks through what the campaign says are the president's accomplishments, both on the economy and other issues.

The campaign also uses the video to target congressional Republicans, saying Obama had to overcome GOP obstruction on Capitol Hill in order to pass legislation.

The video tries to make the case for Obama's re-election by saying there is still more work to do going forward.

The campaign says the video will be played for supporters attending the president's first re-election rallies Saturday in Ohio and Virginia.

The media and the GOP are having a wonderful time with this - apparently the Obama folks are the only people in politics who do NOT know that this was the slogan word of the radical left in Europe for decades.

It is a hilarious and disastrous mistake - we will see how long it lasts.

Now we will have floods of stories called "Is Obama a socialist?"

Forward, that Campaign Phrase has been used before.
Lenin , Stalin, the Nazis all used that very Slogan, "FORWARD" has a long association with the marxist agendia, Obama has a Marxist history teaching Saul ALinsky theory in that second rate College in Chicago.. Now we call it, "Hope and Change", or "Fundamental Transformation".
Interesting how the Liberal - Statist media just doesn't pick up on that. Hmmm.
The 10planks of the Communist manifesto is paralleled by Obamas Fundamental Transformation, we are seeing major division between the calsses as in the 99% vs the 1%. People feel they are entitled to other peoples property, People are becoming more an more dependent on the Government, Religion is scorned. High Gas Prices, Higher Graduated taxes, Government providing credit under the disguise of Student Loans, State owned Industries unions buyout of the Automotive industry. Everything Obama is doing falls into moving away from a Republic and the Constitution and twords a Centralized all powerful Government, a EU Socialist State.
But Liberals simply look the other way and go off as dumbed down sheeple to the butcher.
The Media is playing to Ideology over news reporting, They are not doing their job and exposing the Hyprocricy or being at all critical to Obama.

President Obama taught at the University of Chicago School of Law, along with some of the leading conservatve legal scholars in the country. He did not teach Alinsky theory; he taught constitutional law. The rest of your post is too much paranoid BS to try to respond to.

Here's another challenge, even more relevant; the Liberal Party is very much moving in a Direction of Socialism, Marxism under the Disguise of Obamas Fundamental Transformation.
We are living under a soft tyranny under Obama who is creating a larger more centralized Government in the fashion of a EU Socialist style of Governing. Tell me we are as free as when he got into Office. well, I'm glad you said that....because I definitely deserve who I voted for! Thank god the person I voted for came into office and started moving our country FORWARD, creating 4.1 million jobs and putting real equality on the agenda :). Put the word "forward" into any context you want, twist it around, do whatever to make it sound negative, but the facts are that President Obama has moved our country forward...to where it should be, and I'm proud to call him my president.

Obama enjoys the trappings of the white house and wants desperately to keep his power. Last December Obama forced the Congress to pass a Bill allowing people to keep $60 in tax breaks for a couple of months. Just before he went on his $4million dollar Tax payer funded vacation in Hawaii for Christmas. Obamas take more tax payer vacations, than any other president. Obama plays more rounds of Golf than any other president.
As you get better at golf you get better at your job, Obama has gotten better at neither.
