Rahm Emanuel Slams Mitt Romney Again On 'Piers Morgan' (VIDEO)

WATCH: Rahm Emanuel Slams Romney On 'Piers Morgan'

Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel hasn't been shy about his feelings towards his former boss's most likely challenger. The former White House Chief of Staff has gone after Mitt Romney for lacking "spine" and "fortitude," for "turning a blind eye" on the middle class and failing to create jobs as governor of Massachusetts.

In an appearance on "Piers Morgan Tonight" last week, Emanuel took another jab at the Republican candidate while responding to a question about roadblocks facing President Obama's economic agenda.

"I would say, clearly, Mitt Romney’s economic policies want to take us to a point in time which actually led to this crisis we had, both in the auto industry, the financial sector, and the economy as a whole," Emanuel told Morgan (See video above).

"Remember, if it was up to Mitt Romney, we wouldn’t have an auto industry," Emanuel told Morgan. "He said, 'Let 'em go.'"

Skewering President Obama's likely challenger isn't Emanuel's only contribution to the reelection bid. The Chicago mayor has been stumping for the President across the Midwest, and was named a co-chair to the campaign after vowing to do "whatever" he could to help the president get reelected.
