Cicero Man Accused Of Knocking Off-Duty Cop's Tooth Out During Strip Club Brawl

A Cicero man is facing serious charges after allegedly starting a fight with an off-duty police officer at a suburban strip club.

Police say Martin Mendoza, 28, was involved in a fight at Scores Gentlemen's Club in Stone Park early Monday when an off-duty Stone Park police officer working security tried to intercede, the Chicago Tribune reports. Mendoza allegedly punched the officer in the mouth with such force the man lost a front tooth.

Mendoza was charged with aggravated battery and was ordered held on $50,000 bond at a hearing Monday, the Chicago Sun-Times reports. He's scheduled to appear in court next Monday.
