Linda Watson, Missouri Teen With Cerebral Palsy, Goes To Prom With Mizzou Football Players (VIDEO)

WATCH: Teen's Very Athletic Prom Dates

Linda Watson has always been a big fan of the Missouri Tigers.

So when prom season rolled around, her teachers did their best to give the high school senior the date of a lifetime by reaching out to the Mizzou football team to find Linda a special date.

In response, two of team's star players quickly agreed to accompany Linda to the dance, according to KMIZ, who first reported the story.

Dressed in a flowy, black ensemble, Watson, who has cerebral palsy, was escorted to the Fayette High School prom by Mizzou players T.J. Moe and Corbin Berkstresser.

The trio boogied on the dance floor and even twirled to Kenny Chesney's "The Boys of Fall."

Linda's father, Dave Watson, told KMIZ that his daughter could not be more delighted.

"This is like bringing a kid to like six trips to Disneyland. She is that big of a fan. She just loves them," he said.

Graham Watson, a writer for the Yahoo! Sports blog Dr. Saturday, commended the players for putting their plans on hold in order to attend the dance.

"It's nice to see these two players take time out of their weekend to do something this special. It was truly a night Linda Watson will remember for the rest of her life," Watson wrote.

And while the Missouri teen enjoyed the night with her favorite athletes, an Iowa senior spent her prom night dancing with Tim Tebow.

Well, sort of.

After a failed attempt at scoring a date with the former Florida quarterback, Rachel Bird decided to create a life-size cutout of the New York Jets player. And, yes, "Tebow" was the life of the party.

"I think more people took their picture with Tim than they did with me,” Bird told the Des Moines Register.
