Luke Evans Offered 'Fast 6' Villain Role?

Luke Evans versus Rihanna? Probably not, but just go with it!

According to Twitch, the Welsh actor -- who is currently onscreen in "The Raven" and co-stars as Bard the Bowman in Peter Jackson's "The Hobbit" -- has an offer to play the villain in "Fast Six," a role that was previously earmarked for Jason Statham. All of which raises the question: what about Rihanna?

As you may recall, British tabloid The Sun reported that 'Nana was apparently being courted to play the heavy in "Fast Six" following her strong performance in "Battleship." Her role would have "plenty of bite," a source told the paper.

Of course, while The Sun might be completely wrong, it could be that Rihanna is up for another villain role in the sixquel. Or maybe she's not at all and never was and Evans is going to play the British baddie when "Fast Six" starts shooting later this spring.

Even if that is the case, it's not like Rihanna is hurting for work: in addition to "Battleship" (out May 18), she's potentially going to star as herself in "The End of the World," Seth Rogen's apocalypse comedy.
