Neil Geckle turned himself in for child pornography charges on Thursday.

A Pennsylvania teen is accused of making child porn by splicing lewd pictures of himself with photographs of minors downloaded from Facebook. According to police, he "didn’t think it was a big deal."

Neil Geckle, 19, turned himself in to the Radnor Police Department on Thursday. Authorities say that the alleged child pornographer would download the girls' photos, masturbate to them, digitally insert an image of genitals into the photographs and then repost them to the girls' Facebook pages, the Philadelphia Daily News reported.

Police learned of the case in late February, when four female victims -- three minors and one 18-year-old -- came forward to report the crime, according to a police statement obtained by The Huffington Post.

"I remember the day those girls walked in here," Radnor Police Chief William Colarulo told ABC-6. "It was Feb. 29. They walked in here and they were hysterical."

"And just to make this matter worse, he did it in his grandmother's bedroom," Colarulo added. "That is where he carried out these acts of child porn."

Detectives with the Delaware County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force quickly identified Geckle, who was using a false Facebook account under the name "Matt Hemcher."

Geckle's charges include child pornography, disseminating photographs of a child sex act and design or copy of obscene materials.

His bail is set at $100,000.

I go to the same high school as Neil. I would just like to clear up a few missing facts this article failed to mention. First off, Neil and I both go to the same school as all of the "victims" They weren't just random girls that he friended on Facebook one day, all of the girls knew him. Second off, none of the girls were "hysterical" None of them are mentally scarred in anyway. All of the girls thought it was a little creepy, but none of them were very bothered or upset by it. The whole incident is not nearly as big of a deal as this article makes you believe it is. Just one more thing is that Neil obviously made a horrible mistake, but he is actually a very nice kid. When all of the teachers that had Neil found out about this whole scandal, they were completely shocked. Neil would probably be one of the last kids people would've guessed to have committed such a crime. I do believe he is guilty, and that he should go to jail for a couple of years, but he should not be as harshly punished as most of your say he should be. PS, the youngest girl was 16 years old, the rest were 17 and one 18. The article just so happens to fail to mention this info and make you believe that the victims were very young defenseless girls who do not know Neil at all.

The only thing that's upsetting about this is that no one would care if he modified adult images, and they should. It shouldn't matter if the image was of kids or adults, anyone who alters someone else's image without their permission should be arrested, especially if they are making sexual content out of it.

Seems like a very minor crime. He didn't assault anyone, he simply played with the images to suit his personal pleasure, nobody is forcing people to look at it.

And where do we see young Mr. Geckel in say 5-10-or 20 years ? Do we see him as a well behaved well adjusted member of society ? In his little mind he states that this isn't a " Big deal ." If this isn't a big deal , Than what isn't a big deal in his future . This dude is scary .

One big deal is being able to write correct standard English. Your writing "abilities" are just as scary.

Put him in prison for life, and don't segregate him from the Bubbas. I am a believer of one strike, you're out for sex crimes against children.

It might just be that age thing, he might have been abused himself as a child, he did wrong but hes young, 2yrs in jail might help him change his ways, if he was a man then I agree he should be put in jail for a long time, but hes not a man is he, he's a stupid boy and needs to be punished for what he did but he needs to understand that if he does it again he'll be spending most of hi life in jails, give him a little taste of jail now and let him have a think about his future. IF IT'S BROKEN, FIX IT, is what you stand for yes, well this young man is broken, so wouldn't it be better to try and fix him first.
