Christina Hendricks' Style Evolution: From Model To 'Mad Men' Bombshell (PHOTOS)

PHOTOS: Christina Hendricks Goes From Model To 'Mad Men' Bombshell

When Joan Holloway swishes her hips through the New York advertising agency on "Mad Men," every man in the room takes notice. Much like her 1960s TV alter-ego, Christina Hendricks doesn't seem to have much trouble turning heads. Even women have taken notice of the redhead's jaw-dropping looks, voting her America's best-looking woman in a 2010 Esquire survey. But don't think that the model-turned-actress is just a pretty face with a killer body. Hendricks has the acting chops and a Screen Actors' Guild award to back her up.

Even though Hendricks isn't too pleased with the public's fixation on her physique, the face of London Fog is well-aware of her voluptuous figure and tries to dress accordingly. "I have to be careful about my proportions and keep it simple," she told Lucky last year. "What works for me is structure and something that shows my waist."

She also follows her own advice on the red carpet, showing off her hourglass shape in waist-hugging sheaths and vintage-inspired gowns. Hendricks does veer away from her Joan-esque ensembles though, sparking debate over her more avant-garde looks.

In celebration of Hendricks' 37th birthday on May 3rd, we're taking a look back at the bombshell's style over the years. Vote on all her looks in the slideshow below.
