For five seasons, fans of USA's "In Plain Sight" have watched Deputy US Marshal Mary Shannon (Mary McCormack) struggle to balance her work in the Federal Witness Protection Program and her difficult personal life.

But as "In Plain Sight' comes to an end (the series finale, entitled "All's Well That Ends," airs Friday, May 4 at 10 p.m. ET), Mary's dueling worlds overlap in an unavoidable way.

Mary's fugitive father (Stephen Lang), who suffered from a gambling addiction and ran out on her when she was four, returned a few episodes back. And in last week's penultimate episode, he died after took a bullet for her.

In our exclusive clip below, an emotional Mary must make funeral arrangements for the father she barely knew and even though her longtime partner Marshall Mann (Frederick Weller) is supposed to be meeting with the pastor to prepare for his wedding, he is instead with Mary, putting him in a difficult situation with his fiancee Abigail.
