Man Teaches Child To Steal iPhone At Miami International Mall: Cops (VIDEO)

WATCH: Man Allegedly Teaches Kid To Steal iPhone

A man allegedly enlisted a young boy to steal for him in an incident last month at Miami International Mall in Doral, reports NBC Miami.

Surveillance video shows a man watching what police estimate to be a 4-year-old boy reach onto a kiosk counter and steal an iPhone before handing it back to the man.

"It's disturbing," Doral Police Lt. Carlos Alfaro told WSVN, "and it goes to the level of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. It's incomprehensible that a parent would use a child to commit those kind of crimes."

Watch the video above from the incident, which occurred on March 14 around 7 p.m.

The man is wanted on charges of grand theft, according to NBC Miami. If you have any information about the incident or the suspect's identify, contact Doral Det. M. Vila at (305) 593-6699, ext. 2514.

Teaching a child to steal is disturbing but it's far from rare. Surveillance video caught a woman in a Delaware wig store who used a child to steal a patron's wallet.

Video was again central in catching another adult who used her 3 children to shoplift at an Arizona Target. Worse yet, when security confronted the mother, she used the carrier holding her infant to swing at the employees in an attempt to evade arrest.

For parents who haven't taught their kids to steal, here's what to do if you catch them in the act:
