Demi Lovato has reportedly signed on to judge "The X Factor" Season 2.
The Hollywood Reporter first broke the news about Lovato's discussions to join Simon Cowell's Fox singing competition series and now, E! reports sources have confirmed Lovato's all set to sit beside Cowell and L.A. Reid on the judges panel, which has two vacant seats.
According to "E! News," Lovato has agreed to a deal, but just needs to put the pen to the paper. Watch the video below for the full report.
"The X Factor" began searching for two new judges -- and two hosts -- after Season 1 whenjudges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger along with host Steve Jones were given the boot. Cowell began searching for replacement judges and hosts almost immediately.
Rumored judges include big names from Britney Spears to LeAnn Rimes, while former WWE personality Stacy Keibler's name has been thrown around as host. "Glee's" Darren Criss was reportedly offered the hosting gig but turned it down.
Many of the rumored judges -- like Fergie -- told press they're flattered, but don't have the time to give it their all.
Lovato will reportedly join Britney Spears as a new judge when "The X Factor" returns to Fox. Request for comment from Fox was not immediately returned.
