Post-hardcore band Cursive released a music video for their single "Drunken Birds" off their latest album I Am Gemini.
Playing off the storytelling theme the band is so well known for, the song and video follows the story of twin brothers Cassius and Pollock as they engage in a subtle duel of egos. It's difficult to understand the intricacies of the brothers' relationship in the video, but there's an obvious sense of desperation and jealousy. One brother is envious of the other's successful stage career, and is willing to go to extreme measures to try to gain similar recognition.
