Maybe prohibition wasn't such a bad idea after all.

Thanks to alcohol (and some poor decision-making), a 29-year-old Florida man thought it was perfectly reasonable to shoot himself twice in the arm after his girlfriend rebuffed his sexual advances when the couple got home from a bar. At the very least, he probably wouldn't have fallen into the oven and knocked himself out.
