Homemade Stuffed Crust Pizza: Your Best Recipes

Pizza has been getting a little out of control lately, and if you ask us, we love it. There's a time and a place for everything, including hot dog stuffed crust pizza (the place would be the UK) and cheeseburger- or chicken strip-stuffed pizza (in the Middle East).

Though our Kitchen Daily editors usually lunch on quinoa and arugula salads, we dream of crusts stuffed with macaroni and cheese or peanut butter cups. We decided to get in on the stuffed-crust trend by making our own outrageous pizzas, and we want you to get in on the action too. Send us your best ideas for stuffed crust pizzas -- preferably along with photos -- and be a part of our crazy crust slideshow. Nothing is too over-the-top.

Everything in moderation, right?

Get your dinner and dessert all in one dish. With sweet and savory combinations as popular as they are these days (think sea salted chocolate), there's no reason not to jump on that culinary train. All you need for this recipe is pizza dough, your pizza cheese of choice, and a generous amount of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups (or other chocolatey candy). To make it roll out the dough, chop the Reese's and fold the edge of the dough around the candy. Top with cheese and bake in the oven at 450 degrees for 10 minutes. You can eat the savory, cheese part first and save the crust for dessert -- or just eat each slice all the way through, and enjoy the mix of the salty-sweet flavors.

All these sounds gross.. shows that most people have the palates of a 5 year old if this stuff appeals to them. Just reading this article make me want to go to Italy and have a proper pizza or even NYC at Motorino

Man oh man do you take a whole pack of Exlax after eating one of those ?
I add a hand full of finely chopped spinach, carrots and broccoli IN my crust along with spices.
Sure the dough looks green but bakes out to a normal color.
You can add them to the sauce, if you like !
With a little extra garlic in the sauce no one even taste the Veggies but they are getting them !!
My kids love to help make the pizza !
Just add your chopped veggies to the dough before you add water and mix a few minuites or you might end up adding a lot of flour and have 3 Pizzas instead of one. LOL

Just made one tonight with a mozzerella and sharp cheddar stuffed crust. Melted butter with garlic powder mixed in and spread over crust midway through cooking totally makes it and adds a touch of crispness. Was excellent!

No, but it sounds delish. Spinach would also work well in Stromboli, which is essentially the same concept.

BTW, thanks for your service!

I did a pesto and mozzarella stuffed crust once that was fantastic. No pictures, though!
