On Friday afternoon, The Blaze's Mike Opelka exited his New York office and spotted an unusual sight.
Driving up Sixth Avenue was a flatbed truck holding a trailer with eight mannequin-like bodies hanging on nooses. One of the figures portrayed in the scene resembled President Barack Obama, with a sign on the truck that read: "Obama Is Onboard, Find Out Why. Visit YouTube.com And Search Keyword PatriotPhipps."
At Patriotphipps' YouTube page, there is video of a man talking to the Obama mannequin. The clip's description reads: "VR Phipps speaks with his President Obama mannequin about his corruption problem in Duplin County."
Phipps' words appear to stem from his belief that members of his family were murdered by area law enforcement officials. He alleges that a cover-up has kept him from receiving any justice, the Blaze reports.
This is not the first instance of a questionable protest against Obama. A Thursday report found that a Georgia bar owner posted a sign saying "I do not support the n***** in the White House." Back in March, a bumper sticker that read "Don't re-n*g in 2012" went viral.
