Random Bystanders Save Pam Lewis' Life After Sudden Heart Trouble One Week Before Her Birthday, Mother's Day (VIDEO)

WATCH: 'Thank You, You Saved My Entire Family'

Thanksgiving may be nowhere in sight, but Don Scott, his two daughters, and his wife, have every reason to celebrate that holiday this Sunday in lieu of Mother's Day.

The Aurora, Colorado, family suffered a scare last week when their 43-year-old mother, Pam Lewis, collapsed near her daughters' elementary school. KDVR reports bystanders there immediately started administering CPR, which paramedics now credit for saving her life.

After a rush to the hospital, Lewis discovered she'd experienced an episode of Sudden Arrhythmia Syndrome (SADS), a heart rhythm abnormality that affects primarily healthy, young, undiagnosed people.

Scott issued a heartfelt thanks to the random bystanders who saved his wife's life on Fox31 Monday morning, later reporting on Facebook:

This Sunday (mothers day) is Pam's birthday. This is one birthday we will never forget. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU GOD for BLESSING us with the people who came together for my wife and my family. THANK YOU to my friends and everyone in our community who has done so much to help us through this. I LOVE EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!

Scott also tracked down a list of those who responded, specifically thanking:
Sarah Franklyn (Parent)
Tammy Mickey (School Bus Driver)
Carla Alexis (School Nurse)
Stephanie Manning (Parent)
Margarie Gold (Parent)
