'Wicked Tuna': Crew Risks Capsizing To Fish In Storm

There was some seriously aggressive fishing going down on "Wicked Tuna" (Sun., 10 p.m. ET on National Geographic) this week. Despite a storm creating dangerous waves and terrible conditions, the fishermen decided to stay on the water in hopes of scoring a big payday.

Their thinking was that the tumultuous waves and stormy weather might bring the fish to the surface and make them easier to catch. So despite the risk of flooding and capsizing their boat, they stayed with it, and at least at first glance it looks like the chance they took was well worth it.

They managed to haul in an impressive 850 pound behemoth. As long as the profit from the haul offsets any potential expenses they might have incurred by subjecting their ship to such treacherous seas, it will have proven to be a worthwhile gamble, which surely means it's one they'd take again.

Follow all the action on "Wicked Tuna" every Sunday at 10 p.m. ET on National Geographic.
