Mitt Romney To Visit Colorado Wednesday, First Campaign Stop Since Caucuses

Romney Makes Campaign Stop In Denver Today

Mitt Romney will be making his first campaign stop in Colorado since he lost to Rick Santorum in the February caucuses.

His campaign has two events planned in the Denver metro area, one of which will be in Fort Lupton, to focus on foreclosures and the housing market, according to Fox31.

A website that provides foreclosure listings across the country, Foreclosure.com, says that Colorado has over 7,200 foreclosed properties. The U.S. Department of Labor shows that Colorado's 2012 unemployment rate has stayed at 7.8 percent over three months from January to March with slow but steady improvement since October 2011. Nationally, the unemployment rate has improved to 8.1 percent as of April 2012.

Romney's list visit to Colorado in February left him glitter-bombed and second to Santorum.

As of Tuesday, Romney is just 270 delegates away from the 1,144 he'll need to cinch the GOP nomination.

Colorado is considered up for grabs again for the 2012 presidential election. President Obama's nine point victory in 2008 was only the fourth time Colorado went blue since World War II.
