With the release of her debut solo album, "AM/PM" from Decca Records, actress and producer Rita Wilson found a whole new creative mountain to climb. Recording at the legendary Capitol Records, collaborating with artists like Sheryl Crow, Faith Hill and Vince Gill, and opening live on stage for Sugarland, Rita doesn't venture into new territory timidly. She takes it by storm! In part 2 of our conversation with Rita, she sat down with Huffington Post Senior Editor Willow Bay in our Los Angeles studio to share her journey with us. Rita is an inspiration to anyone who has a dream. However, being Tom Hanks's wife with all her contacts and money makes all the difference in the world to seeing that the dream is fulfilled. But, I wish her well - it is not easy being the "wife of".

Saw her yesterday on the Today show. Her voice is serviceable at best. Her husband's money and influence got her the recording contract. If she was a "nobody" well, she'd still be a nobody.

This would have been a real article if it actually showed a clip of Rita singing! I went to youtube to see if she actually could; and while she's no Whitney Houston, her voice is decent and pleasant enough to take advantage of her place of privilege in the world and have an acceptable video made without being mocked (though how many beginners get Steven Spielberg making their first music video)?
