The University of Miami medical school will be laying off 800 workers in July, NBC 6 learned Tuesday.
The layoffs at the Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine will go into effect on July 31, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification posted to floridajobs.org.
